"Our mission is to improve patient care by making custom orthotics accessible. We believe the benefits of pain relief, injury prevention, and posture correction shouldn't require months of waiting or a hefty price tag," Dr. Zac Cartun MD, Chief Medical Officer at Stride Soles.
Stride Soles has streamlined the insole design process into two easy steps. First, customers answer questions regarding their pain areas, any medical conditions such as flat feet or plantar fasciitis, and their shoe preferences, including options like high heels, running sneakers, or business shoes. Second, customers use their smartphones to scan their feet at home with an innovative 3D scanning app.
The responses and scans are then analyzed by Stride Soles' doctors, who design, construct, and ship the insoles within two weeks. Their medical team, with 40 years of experience in orthotic design, creates insoles that actually correct foot and gait issues for long term health. Each pair is individually crafted by the medical team using TPU biopolymer, a highly durable and biodegradable material.
The market for shoe insoles has been considerably impacted by the increase in sports and athletic activities, which has increased consumer demand for customized insoles that improve performance and comfort and help reduce the risk of injury. The growing prevalence of diabetes is also expected to drive the demand for diabetic-friendly shoe insoles. Consumers are increasingly seeking insoles that offer both support and style and with the convenience of online shopping, they have access to a wide range of options to cater to their specific needs and preferences.
The size of the global food orthotic insoles market is estimated at $4.16 billion as of 2022.
The market is projected to reach a size of $8.82 billion by the end of 2032, reflecting a CAGR of 7.8%.
